La Petite Learning Academy in St. Amant
La Petite Learning Academy is a child care and early learning facility in St. Amant, LA dedicated to providing quality child care at reasonable prices. We offer infant care, toddler care, and programs for 2, 3, and 4-year-olds heading into Pre-K. We also offer discounts to families who have multiple children enrolled at our facility, and we accept payments from the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP).
We strive to maintain a safe environment where children are able to reach their full potential educationally, socially, emotionally and physically. It is our goal to provide a safe environment so that your child is ready to learn, and you are able to relax knowing that your child is in good hands!
Our curriculum is based on the guidelines and objectives set forth by the Louisiana Department of Education for your child's age group. We use Frog Street Curriculum to help us meet these guidelines and objections.
Children learn best through play and hands on activities. Your child's teacher will provide opportunities each day for your child to play in various centers which provide opportunities for students to learn necessary skills while having fun. Activities will be provided that invite children to explore with all of their senses rather than learning in a classroom dominated by workbooks and rote learning. We aim to create an environment that encourages children's curiosity and keeps their intrinsic motivation for learning alive. We also combine both group lessons and individualized instruction specific to each child.
Discipline will also be tailored to each child's individual needs. If a child needs additional instruction in a particular area, he or she will receive it. Your child is our top priority, and it is our goal to have a genuine connection with both you and your child.

Meet Our Director
LaQuincia "Quincy" Glover
Ms. Glover is also co-owner and operator of two early learning centers with Ms. Buquoi. Additionally, she has experience successfully running a summer camp for two summers and has a background in business. She is a parent of two children and uses that experience to connect with both the children and the parents at La Petite. Ms. Glover is also working toward obtaining her National Administrator Credential.
